The Lion King best animated film of all time

Disney's 1994 classic The Lion King has been pronounced the best animated film of all time, as decided by the visitors of the Ranker portal.

The second and the third spots belong to Pixar's classics Toy Story (1995) and Finding Nemo (2003). The top of the list also includes Wall-e, Shrek, Aladdin, Despicable Me and Ratatouille. A total of 460,000 people voted.

The Lion King has earned nearly a billion dollars and has regularly placed on the list of the best animated films of all time.

The movie is to be remade in 2019. It will be directed by Jon Favreu, and the voice acting will be performed by James Earl Jones, Seth Rogen, Donald Glover and Beyonce.
