Nine interstate agreements on cooperation signed between Serbia and Hungary

As stated on the website of the Government of Serbia, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic and Hungarian Minister of Interior Sandor Pinter signed amendments to the Agreement of joint border control in road, water and rail transport.
The Agreement on economic and technical cooperation in the field of infrastructural projects was signed by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto.
The annual operating plan for 2018, an annex to the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Serbia and Hungary on expert help in negotiations about Serbia’s accession to the EU, was signed by Serbian Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic and Peter Szijjarto.
Serbian Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovic signed the Letter of intent about agricultural-manufacturing cooperation with his Hungarian colleague, Sandor Fazekas, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of consumer protection and market supervision with Hungarian Minister of National Development Miklos Sesztak.
Agreements in the field of science and education were also signed. Serbian Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic and Peter Szijjarto signed the Program of cooperation in the field of education, science and culture between the two governments for the period from 2018 till 2020 and the working plan of the Program of educational, cultural and scientific cooperation for the 2018-2020 period.
The Memorandum on cooperation in the field of employment between the Serbian Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy and the Hungarian Ministry of National Economy was signed by Mihaly Varga and Zoran Djordjevic.
In the field of defense, the Memorandum of Understanding of the two ministries on cooperation in the field of preparation of military maps and exchange of materials and data for the purpose of preparing military maps was signed by Hungarian Minister of Defense Istvan Simicsko and the state secretary at the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Aleksandar Zivkovic.
Also, the president of the Hungarian State Treasury, Jozsef Meszaros, and the assistant director of the Treasury Administration of Serbia, Sasa Celic, signed the Agreement on cooperation between the treasuries of the two states.
