Chambers of commerce of Valjevo and Skopje signed agreement on cooperation

Chambers of commerce of Skopje and Valjevo signed the agreement on November 14 in order to start cooperation between the companies from these two regions

The Agreement was signed in Skopje by the presidents of regional chambers, Goran Rafajlovski and Zoran Marković, within the scope of Macedonian-Serbian business forum that gathered large number of companies from various domains.

Serbian side was represented by the manufacturers of beer, PVC carpentry, industrial safety equipment and metal products.

According to the data provided by the chambers, value of the trade exchange between Macedonia and Valjevo amounted to about 23m USD after the first nine months of this year, which means that it is at the same level as last year.

Serbia is the greatest partner of Macedonia when it comes to foreign trade since the value of exchange of goods between these two countries in the period 2002-2007 exceeds 4.5 billion USD.
