Zastava to export infantry arms worth USD 7.5 million to United Arab Emirates

Representatives of the management of Zastava Oruzje ended their visit to the United Arab Emirates, where they had contracted another arrangement for the export of the infantry arms made at the factory to the country.

The Kragujevac plant should export arms worth USD 7.5 million to the UAE in the upcoming period.

Zastava Oruzje has been present in the country since 2011, when it delivered arms worth USD 10 million to a business partner in the UAE.

The Kragujevac plant plans to export products worth around USD 50 million to over 40 countries worldwide this year. The management claims that, with the contracts signed so far, the plant has secured full capacity engagement until mid-2019.

With this new contract, the factory will have jobs secured until the end of the next year.
