Dutch Koppert interested in cooperation with Vojvodina – Joint projects in agriculture possible

Provincial Secretary for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, Vuk Radojevic, met last week with representatives of the Dutch agricultural company Koppert, a leader in the field of integral agricultural systems, headed by owner and Managing Director Henri Oosthoek.

Secretary Radojevic and Oosthoek discussed the possibilities of cooperation and the Dutch company's looking into the available administrative infrastructure and science potential in Novi Sad and Vojvodina, to the end of developing joint R&D programs in the field of modern agricultural production.

They agreed that there were numerous options for cooperation, especially in the municipality of Becej, which has plenty of arable land and an excellent geographic position.

Radojevic pointed out that the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture was ready to provide full support and be a reliable partner in potential investment projects.

According to him, the first step in connecting and exchanging information would be the Dutch company's visit to the municipality of Becej.
