Corporation "Tigar" opened largest and most modern factory of rubber footwear in Europe

Corporation "Tigar" has put the largest and the most modern factory of rubber footwear in Europe into operation. The investment worth 17.6m EUR is financed by "Tigar" corporation and finance institution "DEG-Deutsche investitions – und entwicklungsgesellschaft MBH", which has approved a long-term investment loan in amount of 7m EUR for this project.

Factory "Tigar Footwear" produces the most sophisticated rubber footwear, which is certified in the EU countries and Canada, and this footwear is primarily intended for export. The product portfolio includes wide range of rubber footwear for various purposes, which is manufactured in accordance with the defined environmental standards. The most significant segment is safety footwear for professional use, which is intended for protection of users from injuries and it is designed to satisfy the most extreme needs in the working environment.

The full implementation of this project will be finished in June 2009 when the projected annual capacity of 4m pairs will be achieved. Projected three-year sales incomes amount to 75m EUR.

Construction of the footwear factory and its putting into operation is a part of 32m EUR worth of investment project whose realization will complete industrial complex Tigar III, which is going to be one of the leading industrial complexes in the region of Balkan.
