President of the Administrative Board of "Gazprom", Aleksej Miler, and the Director General of "Srbijagas", Dušan Bajatović, pointed to the change in ownership structure in "Jugorosgas", "Gazprom's" daughter company that mediates in delivery of Russian gas to Serbia, as an important concession of the Russian side in Serbian-Russian negotiations about energy agreement.

Instead of former 25%, Serbia will become the owner of 49%, while "Gazprom" will own 51%, which reflects anticipated ownership structure in Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) and corrects the mistake of the former Government.

As Miler explained, "Jugorosgas" is a profitable project that does not pay gas sales margins to "Gazprom", but invests them in the gas-transportation infrastructure in Serbia.
