(New two-way bitcoin and litecoin ATM installed at IDEA London in Belgrade) Another two-way bitcoin and litecoin ATM in Serbia was installed on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the IDEA London store in Belgrade. Users can buy and sell the most popular cryptocurrencies here.
– Bitcoin and litecoin are called the new generation currencies, so it's important for Belgrade and Serbia to have a two-way ATM which provides us with an opportunity to be a part of the global market, that is, to be able to buy and sell cryptocurrencies whenever we want to – said Natasa Pavlovic, head of the Marketing Communication Sector for the IDEA brand.
There are over 50 million users of cryptocurrencies in the world, and, considering the trend, the company ECD expects the number of users to increase by as much as 50% this year compared to 2016, says the press release by IDEA.
Marko Matanovic, Business Development Manager of ECD Group, emphasizes that ECD has been operating in the region as a cryptocurrency exchange service since 2012 and that its mission is to facilitate access to cryptocurrencies.
– The influence of cryptocurrencies on the financial system is only one of the aspects of the new industry, as we believe that positive effects of the revolutionary idea of the blockchain and cryptocurrencies can have a much wider range of implementation, as time will show – Matanovic said.
The organizers announced that members of the ECD expert team will be available each work day from 10 am till 2 pm at IDEA London as technical support.
As announced, the possibility of introducing a third cryptocurrency to the ATM, as well as the possibility of paying with these currencies at IDEA London, will be considered in the upcoming period, the press release adds.
