The first collective contract in the territory of Serbia in the industry of textile, leather and footwear, was signed in Knjazevac on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Confindustria Srbija announced.

The management of the Italian company Falc East, a producer of footwear and auxiliary goods, headed by production manager Stefan Dvojakovic in these negotiations, has successfully brought the multi-month negotiations with the representative trade union Sloga to a close.

– I want to express personal satisfaction over the agreement we've reached, as I believe that this is a step in the right direction both for us as the employer and for the workers employed at our company – Dvojakovic said.

The signees, Sauro Dezi, the director of Falc East, and Vladimir Dragicevic, on behalf of the trade union Sloga, hope that the agreement will serve as an example for other companies in the Republic of Serbia.

Since 2004, Falc East has been operating in the former facilities of Leda Knjazevac and employs 900 workers, of which 700 are members of Sloga.
