Populat Croatian retail chain "Pevec" will be openning its first retail object in Serbia in the next week. Zdravko Pevec, the owner of this specific retail center, which will be opened in Belgrade on December, 18th, stated for "Novac" that his company was unique in the world, as customers can find at one place anything they need - from appliances and technical goods, home furniture, to tools, mechanization, construction material and mass consumption goods, clothes, footwear...
- You should better ask me what we won't sale. We will have assortiment of 100.000 articles, and the object will be on 40.000 square meters with 300 employees. This Belgrade center will be our largest object, out of 18 how much we have in Croatia, Republica Srpska and Macedonia, said Pevec, adding that he would not stop with this object, but has intention of appearing in most bigger cities of Serbia.
The investment in this object will be 40 million euros, and in the moments of global financial crisis it represents one of the rare greenfield investments in Sebia.
What could appeal most to consumers is that Pevec promised that the goods in his objects would have maximum correct prices.
"Pevec" has long year cooperation with companies from Serbia, such as "Metalac", "Simpo", "Alpha peci" and many others, whose products he has been placing for years at Croatian market.
