Members of Japanese Business Alliance attend Speed Business Meeting for the first time – New eight minute meetings between companies held

The new Speed Business Meeting was held in Belgrade last Thursday (April 26, 2018), in which companies-members of four international business associations took part: French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen, Nordic Business Alliance and, for the first time, Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia.

As announced by the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, over 40 companies took part in the event, whose representative had the opportunity to meet other foreign and local companies and expand their business contact network through quick 8-minute meetings.

Danijela Cabarkapa, Executive Director of the Japanese Business Alliance, addressed the attendees on behalf of all the associations in order to present the activities of this association. She emphasized that, as a result of the traditionally good bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Japan, the association had been founded the previous year and that it currently had 30 companies as members, among which are prestigious Japanese companies operating in Serbia, but also Serbian companies cooperating with Japanese ones.

Foreign chambers of commerce and business associations in Serbia often organize Speed Business Meetings, aiming to enable synergy between the companies-members. Each company is provided with ten speed meetings of eight minutes each and the participants are chosen randomly, which is a good opportunity to establish as many business contacts as possible, to present one's company and potentially start new business projects, it is said.
