Sea Dance Festival moves to Buljarica and changes the date

The Government of Montenegro has decided to allocate 300,000 EUR for the organization of this year's Sea Dance Festival. The location of the festival has been at Jaz Beach in Budva, for the past four years and this year it will be held in Buljarica from August 30 to September 1.

The municipality of Budva will also invest EUR 300,000 in the festival.

- It is important to emhasize that changing the location for the biggest music festival in Montenegro which is internationally the most prominent at the end of the summer tourist season contributes significantly to summer season extension and it has a strong economic effect on Montenegro torism and promoting our destinations during this period, the Government states.

Budva municipality has also supported infrastructure investments in the Buljarica site (complete arrangement of the site, waste water treatment in the festival area, parking and road design, fixing the substation), the Government document states.

Total revenue of Montenegro economy generated since festival's beginning was more than EUR 36 million, and the budget revenue was EUR 6 million.
