NIS to pay around RSD 6.9 billion in dividend to shareholders

The Board of Directors of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) proposed this Monday (May 14) for a dividend in the total amount of RSD 6.9 billion to be paid to the company's shareholders from the 2017 profit, NIS announced.

The net profit of NIS amounted to close to RSD 27.8 billion last year, 25% of which is meant to be paid as dividend.

The Russian company Gazpromneft owns 56.15% of the share capital of NIS, 29.87% of the shares are owned by the Republic of Serbia, and the rest belongs to citizens, employees, former employees and other minority shareholders.

NIS shares are traded at the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
