"Trudbenik" ended year 2008 with 3.2m RSD worth of profit

Industry of Building Materials “Trudbenik” announced that it had ended the year 2008 with positive balance and 23m RSD worth of profit, that is, 3.2m RSD after all debts had been paid. In that way, the company managed to make “U turn” and entered the category of profitable economic subjects in our country.

- After the losses at the end of year 2007 amounted to 64m RSD, the company introduced restructuring and reorganization measures at all levels in 2008. That resulted in the growth of both incomes and production (by 5%) and in significant fuel saving. Water consumption was reduced by 15%, while the quantity of consumed gas was 10% smaller than in 2007 - it is stated in "Trudbenik's" announcement.

People in that company say that they will finance long-expected overhaul of production lines in the next few months, which will ensure higher competitiveness of “Trudbenik’s” products in both local and foreign market and it will reduce the company's dependence on public company “Srbijagas”.
