Starbucks in Serbia by the end of 2018

AmRest Holdings SE, the biggest restaurant operator in Central Europe listed at the stock exchange, has announced that it is planning to open Starbucks outlets in Serbia. The first Starbucks will open this year in Belgrade, AmRest Holdings says in a press release.

AmRest is the leading operator of Starbucks cafes in central Europe, and Serbia is the latest market where the company is opening a Starbucks outlet.

Adam Mularuk, Starbucks President for CE at AmRest, stated that they were looking forward to the opening of the first outlet in Belgrade and that they were very happy to be able to offer the unique Starbucks experience to guests in Serbia.


Founded in 1971, the Starbucks Coffee Company now has over 28,000 cafes across the globe and is the biggest company on the global market of roasting and selling specialized coffee.

The Starbucks brand has been a part of AmRest's portfolio since 2008, when the first cafe opened in Prague. The company currently runs over 300 Starbucks cafes in seven countries – Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
