Sabac and Nova Gradiska join forces in improving energy efficiency – Economic cooperation agreement signed

Mayor of Sabac Nebojsa Zelenovic recently signed an economic cooperation agreement with Mayor of Nova Gradiska Vinko Grgic.

As the city’s website reports, the agreement is based on the EU cross-border cooperation project.

Under the agreement, cooperation between the Nova Gradiska Industrial Park and the Industrial Zone of the City of Sabac will be realized.

– The positive experiences and the cooperation we’ve had with the people of Nova Gradiska so far provide us with a foundation for establishing and developing further economic cooperation. The City of Sabac is a leader in Serbia when it comes to energy efficiency. So far, we’ve realized several different projects in the field, but we are always glad to learn from our neighbors, as we’ve seen that we have a good partner in the team of Mayor Vinko Grgic – Zelenovic pointed out.

As Grgic said, this is a valuable project.

– We are planning projects of energy efficiency and education related to the economic activity that will contribute to the development of cross-border cooperation and education of people, especially of senior citizens. This way, they will be more competitive in seeking a job, whereas the energy efficiency will contribute to the operations of the Industrial Park – the mayor of Nova Gradiska underlined.
