Development Agency of Serbia supports 63 projects in processing industry with around RSD 45 million

The Development Agency of Serbia has approved 63 projects within the Program of Support to Processing Industry Sectors, which will be supported with around RSD 45 million, whereby the program budget is spent and the program closed, the agency announced.

As they explain, the program, launched in late December 2017, was to be open until the funds are spent, and there were a total of 130 applications for the co-financing of project activities.

As the press release says, enterprises could apply for support in activities pertaining to the harmonization of operations with international standards, bringing products in line with technical requirements, the procurement and implementation of specialized software, expansion of production capacities, upgrading existing products and developing new ones.

The contests was also open for support pertaining to a new design of a product or packaging, the preparation of feasibility studies for work process automation through the use of ICT and smart production systems, the preparation of studies of the environmental impact of new work processes and individual presentations at international fairs abroad.

Most of the approved projects pertain to the harmonization of operations with international standards, bringing products in line with technical requirements and standards, the procurement and implementation of specialized software and individual presentations at international fairs abroad, the press release adds.

The signing of agreements with the applicants is in progress, and the project realization deadline period is 12 months from the signing of the agreement.
