After the break that lasted for several years, the unit of Belgrade-based company "Hisar" in Prokuplje has, once again, started purchasing fruit from that territory and began intensive production of marmalades and jams.

The Acting Production Director of "Hisar" in Prokuplje, Ninoslav Raičević, said that all debts had been returned to the Development Fund and creditors over the previous two years, that the production halls had been adapted and that the new lines for production of marmalades, jams and creams had been installed in them.

- We have reactivated the cold storage plant with the capacity of 300 tons of frozen fruit, and we will be buying cherries, plums, peaches, apricots and strawberries in the Municipality of Prokuplje this year – said Raičević.

According to his words, people in "Hisar" plan to focus production on the processing of fruit and vegetables according to the technology based on nature, that is, on exclusive production of healthy food, which is produced in this region.
