Acquisition of Pink M by Direct Media approved

The Agency for Electronic Media of Montenegro has approved the change in the ownership structure in Podgorica-based Pink M Company, which broadcasts the program of TV Pink M, whereby 100% of the ownership is transferred to Serbia-based Direct Media, Montenegrin media report.

The former owner is Belgrade-based Pink International.

The Agency announced that its Board had reached the decision as it had been determined that the planned change in the ownership structure would not violate the provisions of the Law on Electronic Media pertaining to disallowed media concentration. The Agency, they said, had examined the ownership structure of the future owner of the broadcaster of TV Pink M.
