DMB at auction on March 20th

The Privatization Agency of Serbia has announced that the two factories of company “21. maj Beograd“ (DMB) – Factory of turbo-engines and transmissions and Factory of small-capacity engines – will be offered for sale at auction on March 20th.

According to the ad in daily newspaper “Politika“, the starting price for these two factories is 233m RSD, which is about 10.7m RSD more than at the auction in December 2008.

The deadline for submission of applications is March 12, 2009.

Total of 70.25% of capital of DMB‘s Factory of turbo-engines and transmissions, of which estimated value is 893.7m RSD, will be offered for sale. Minimum amount of mandatory investments is 33.5m RSD.

Factory of turbo-engines and transmissions produces cog wheels, transmissions for motor-cultivators and combines, differentials and redactors, and it has 127 employees. It registered incomes worth 47.39m RSD in 2007, while the expenses amounted to 132.16m RSD.

That factory in Rakovica owns two production halls at 14,687 square meters and two annexes of these halls at 4,868 square meters, as well as a forge at 496 square meters.

It owns total of 108,933 square meters of building land, 91,991 square meters of which are owned by the state, while the rest of the land is also owned by the state, but it is used by both DMB’s factories.



Total estimated value of the package of 70.63% of DMB’s Factory of small-capacity engines is 271.6m RSD, while the minimum amount of mandatory investments is 11.5m RSD.

It deals with production of small-capacity gasoline and diesel engines, watering pumps, motor-cultivators and mowers, and it has 102 employees. Its incomes in 2007 amounted to 143.32m RSD, while the expenses amounted to 189.51m RSD.

That DMB’s factory owns mechanical hall at 4,370 square meters, the annex of the hall at 1,000 square meters, a trial station for testing of jet engines, a building for testing of rotors and four warehouses.
