Požega-based company "Inmold" designed automated line for production of plastic packaging for needs of Šabac’s "Farmakom MB"
Company "Inmold" has recently finished the design of the automatic line for production of plastic packaging for needs of the dairy of Šabac-based "Farmakom MB". Presentation of this line was organized last weekend in Požega.
This sophisticated and expensive technology is the result of work of Serbian
engineers from Požega’s "Inmold", which has, so far, been an export-oriented
company. However, the global economic crisis has forced certain local companies
to become interested in the technology that is much cheaper, although its
quality is the same as in the West.
Two years ago, the CEO of "Inmold", Goran Janković, started the
project that demanded both large funds and the expertness of the team he
gathered.
Serbian robots made in Požega have become an integral part of the automatic
lines for production of plastic packaging for food industry.
The greatest interest in these robots, as well as in the tools for production
of plastic parts, has been expressed by the foreigners.
- Since the manufacturers in Europe, mainly Switzerland, Italy, Germany and
France, are flooded with requests and orders for production of this type of
equipment, we have decided to use the chance and provide the job for ourselves
in that domain – Janković explains.
In spite of very attractive offers for work in USA or in some of European countries, Miloš Đokić, who is on the engineering team of "Inmold", has decided to sell his know-how to the foreigners through Serbian robots.
- We can earn some money, have good prospects, learn something new, travel a lot and see how the rest of the world does what we do – says Đokić.
