Chinese and Azerbaijani companies continue construction of bypass route around Belgrade

The construction of the bypass route around Belgrade, the remaining section of the highway from the Sava bridge near Ostruznica to Bubanj Potok, continues on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

The main contractor is the Power Construction Corporation of China and the subcontractor is Azerbaijan's Azvirt.

The commencement of the construction works will be marked by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic, Mayor of Belgrade Zoran Radojicic, ambassadors of China and Azerbaijan, Li Manchang and Eldar Hassanov, the acting director of the PE Roads of Serbia, Zoran Drobnjak, and the acting director of the Corridors of Serbia, Zoran Babic, with representatives of the contractor, the PE Roads of Serbia announced.
