New project of Microsoft - Cyrillic Tablet PC

Office of Microsoft in Serbia and Montenegro, in cooperation with Tablet PC team from Redmond, started work on the project for collecting of samples of Cyrillic and Latin handwriting. That is the first step towards development of Handwriting Recognizer, key software component for text input on Tablet PC computers.

Collecting of big number of samples will take six months. It is expected that several hundreds of people go through Microsoft's laboratory in Belgrade during that time. Final result of that process will be Recognizers for Serbian Latin and Cyrillic writing.
