Nine Serbian companies at trade fair "CeBIT 2009"
- Nine Serbian companies will take part in the world’s Trade Fair of Information and Communication Technologies “CeBIT“ this week – the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA) announced.
According to the announcement, the trade fair in Hannover, between March 3 and 8, will see the presentation of the following Serbian companies: PSTec, E-Smart Systems, Belit, Code System, Accordia Group, M&I Systems, BioIRC, Serbian Software Cluster and Seavus.
This is the sixth time that SIEPA organizes the appearance of local companies at "CeBIT", and Serbian companies will present themselves at the joint national booth.
According to the announcement the organizers of the Fair said that the “CeBIT“ would gather about 1,500 less exhibitors than last year, when about 6,000 exhibitors participated in the Fair, because of the global financial crisis.
The SIEPA’s Adviser for Information and Communication Technologies, Andrija Bednarik, estimated that that would enable Serbian companies to draw more attention in 2009.
The participation of Serbian companies in the Trade Fair in Hannover has been financially and technically backed by the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT Society, German Organization for Technical Assistance GTZ and the USAID’s Project for Promotion of Competitiveness.
