"eKapija" grants AUREA 2009 award for the Investment of the Year on March 9th

Business portal "eKapija" will grant AUREA 2009 award for the Investment of the Year 2008 on Monday (March 9th, 2009). The award will be handed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Science and Technological Development, Mr. Božidar Đelić, and the awards night will be organized in "Aeroklub".

AUREA 2009 award will be granted to the project with the highest level of innovation, public usefulness and commercial profitability in 2008.

In addition to the main award, "eKapija" is also going to grant two special certificates – for innovation and public usefulness of the projects.

With this project, business portal "eKapija" wants to throw light on the quality investments and the projects that have not drawn enough media attention. The aim of "eKapija" is to show the examples of investments that are innovating, inspiring, good for society and sustainable growth of Serbian economy, as well as profitable.

Utilizing the specific features of Internet, the texts in Serbian, English and German language on "eKapija’s" website have contributed to presentation of good investment stories all around the world.

Eight companies have been shortlisted for AUREA 2009 award: "Sto posto"- premix factory, “Delta Agrar"- apple orchard at 100 ha in Čelarevo, "NTIM Technology" – solar and electric kiln, "SFERA"- Robot Bird, "ICM Electronics"- the first Serbian factory of robotic lines, "Metalac" – technology wastewater treatment, "Milinković Company"- Factory of ferro-cement blocks, and "Kuće Beodom"- low-energy residential building "Amadeo".

The winner will be selected by the six-member jury, consisting of the representatives of local and foreign economies, educational institutions, public administration and international financial institutions, while the seventh vote will be given by the readers of "eKapija".
