If no significant drops are recorded in the upcoming three days, the so-called bull market, which began in March 2009, will last nine years, five months and 13 days.
This is a record that few could predict after the drop of 50% during the financial crisis.
The longest growth on the stock exchange has brought thousands of billions of dollars of wealth to people who have invested, also helping the U.S. economy.
Since the growth began on March 9, 2009, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index has grown by 321%. The longest stock exchange growth, the one from the 1990s, brought an increase of 417%.
