TARGO Telekom still looking for a buyer – Fiber-optic communication network up for sale for EUR 20,4 million

The administrative receiver of TARGO Telekom has announced the sale of the bankrupt debtor as the legal entity through public bidding.

The public ad states that the most valuable property of the debtor is fiber-optic communication network in Belgrade city area and backbone fiber- optic network across Serbia which is installed along the motorways and parts of major highways.

The initial sale price is EUR 20, 4 million while the deposit payment is 20% of the estimated value.

The bidding process will take place on October 8, 2018 at noon in the offices of the bankrupt debtor.

Let us remind, TARGO Telekom was founded in 2009. The network backbone, 850 km in length, is the central part of its infrastructure and it covers Serbia from north to south and and from east to west and there are also 500 km of network in the city of Belgrade. TARGO Telekom has the largest data transfer capacity, which means that more 160,000 households in Belgrade and around 540,000 in entire Serbia can be instantly connected to a high speed internet network.

In 2015 it was announced that the whole of Slovenia`s Nuba Svetovanje in Investiranje share in TARGO Telekom, a total of 89.09%, was sold to Slovenian company PV Nalozbe .
