Grcic and the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic visited the renovated dispatch center in Prote Mateje Street.
Investing in dispatch center modernization including new equipment cost around EUR 200 million, Grcic said.
As he explained, the dispatch centers in Novi Sad and Belgrade are synchronized and simultaneously cover the entirety of Serbia.
– We mustn't let out of our sight not even one electric power station in the country, Grcic pointed out and said that investing in production only wasn't enough, but investments in distribution process must be made as well.
According to Grcic, EPS is striving to keep the company at top performance level.
– We meet all the standards and this is an excellent example how our company is reaching the world level one step at a time.
Vesic emphasized the good partnership between the city of Belgrade and EPS and that these kinds of investments are vital for the Serbian capital.
– This investment is worth EUR 1.5 million and we are proud that our city has a dispatch center such as this one, Vesic said.
