Italian manufacturer of mechanical car components, GLM, opens plant in Zrenjanin

Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Carlo Lo Cascio opened yesterday the first factory of the Italian company GLM Group in Zrenjanin

The company that specializes in production of mechanical components for automotive industry at the moment employs 68 workers with the aim to increase this number to over 100 in the upcoming years.

As RTS reports, GLM Group, which manufactures exhaust systems for automotive industry, will export its products to Italy, Germany and Czech Republic.

The director of GLM's division in Serbia, Radivoje Poljanac said that the investments was worth EUR 5 million up until that moment and added that in the investment would reach EUR 10 million in a short time.

Poljanac pointed out that GLM plant delivers their products to Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari and Audi.
