German businessmen interested in strategic partnership with Tigar a.d. from Pirot

Business delegation from Germany, led by Roland Schimek, the owner of several successful companies, visited on Tuesday the Tigar a.d. plant.

General Manager of the company Vladimir Ilić, said that Tigar a.d. was going through privatization procedure and expressed hope that they would realize strategic partnership and cooperation.

– Until a few years ago, the business had many problems among which were suspended operations and salary delay but today the German delegation could see for themselves that production was carried out in three shifts, that almost all capacities are operational and they were able to learn about Tigar's potentials and what we can offer to the European market. At the moment, 70 % of the whole production is specifically exported, Ilic said.

The plant's manager added that the delegation visited the factory at the Ministry of Economy recommendation.

Ronald Schimek, who also owns Rhein Solutions, said that the company already has an office in Serbia, that he liked what he saw and that they were a;ready full of new business ideas. His partner of many year, Roland Mayer, concurred with the statement.

– The factory's products we saw here are just what we are looking for. N w we need to research company's background, and learn about its production process and finances. When we collect that information we will issue an official statement about future cooperation.
