From city walks under UV light, through world tours in sixty minutes to decoding hieroglyphs and “takeaway” fossils, the 13th European Researcher's Night, held throughout Serbia on September 28 and 29, will be marked by some of the most exciting scientific challenges.

Under the slogan “Research through the Night, Knowledge is Might”, the European Researchers' Night invites all visitors to attend the largest scientific adventure in over twenty towns throughout Serbia, and all content is free.

The locations include Belgrade, the Lepenski Vir archaeological site, Nis, Leskovac, Despotovac, Svilajnac, Jagodina, Kragujevac, Smederevo and Krusevac, where visitors will be able to enjoy a range of activities.

The program involves active participation of the researchers themselves, whereby visitors will get to meet them, visit their labs and be introduced to their work. This way of presenting and demystifying science is one of the main goals of the European Researchers' Night.

In Serbia, the event is financed through the HORIZON 2020 program, the biggest research and innovation program of the EU, as part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions.
