Associations, endowments and foundations will no longer be obliged to use stamps in their operations beginning with October 1, the Business Registers Agency says in its press release.

The beginning of the implementation of the provisions of Article 160 of the Law on Amendments to the Company Law (Official Gazette 44/2018) on October 1, 2018, frees associations, endowments and foundations from the obligation to use stamps in their operations.

This provision abolishes the provisions of the Law on Associations and the Law on Endowments and Foundations, under which these legal entities were obliged to use stamps in their operations and to have the form and the content of the stamp be determined by a statute.

This means that the registrar of the Registry of Associations and the Registry of Endowments and Foundations will no longer require associations, endowments and foundations to define the form and the content of the stamp by a statute, nor to use stamps in the operations, after October 1, 2018.
