The Commercial Court of Kragujevac today initiated bankruptcy proceedings in Zastava Kamioni due to the account being blocked for around RSD 3.3 billion.

The petition for the bankruptcy proceedings in the Kragujevac-based factory of commercial vehicles was proposed by the Ministry of Economy due to a long-lasting insolvency, and the court determined that the account had been blocked since September 18, 2015, that is, for 1,097 days.

Zastava Kamioni are 100%-owned by Zastava Vozila, which has been in bankruptcy since May 2017.

The creditors' hearing has been scheduled for October 29, and the creditors have been invited to file their claims within 60 days, whereas the debtors have been invited to meet their obligations toward Zastava Kamioni.
