Inđija still attracts investors – five new factories in this municipality in Srem
In one of the best Serbian municipalities - Inđija, new jobs are constantly being created, although the global economic crisis slows down the inflow of new investments. According to the expectations, three new factories should be soon put in operation in Inđija.
These factories are Greenfield investments of Slovenian "Aha Plastik", local "Gombit" and "Galenika Magmasil", while another factory that will be producing concrete structures for halls, the property of Italian company "Martini", is under construction.
Mayor Goran Ješić points out that the most important thing is that Danish company "Grunfos" will have its units built in Inđija and, thus, create additional 500 jobs.
- That is the investment worth 100m EUR and it is very significant to Inđija. In spite of the economic crisis, we did our best to persuade the investors not to give up the investments in Inđija. Opening of factories and creation of new jobs is our permanent task and we will not give up regardless of the proportions of the economic crisis - Goran Ješić points out.
According to the statement of the Deputy Director of the Directorate for Development of Municipality, Milivoje Simić, 15 parcels in the location of northeast working zone, so-called "Pinc", have been sold to investors. If they manage to finish construction and open only four factories in that location, it will be a great success that will create even more jobs for the inhabitants of this municipality in Srem.
