Memorandum on cooperation with American Behtel on construction of Morava Corridor soon

Minister Zorana Mihajlovic stated that the American company Behtel was interested in taking part in the construction of the section of the Pojate-Preljina on the Morava Corridor and that the memorandum on cooperation would be signed soon.

The World Bank, the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Chinese, Azerbaijani and European contractors, and soon, American companies are involved in infrastructural projects, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said on Radio Belgrade.

She pointed out that it was important for Serbia, for its economic and political position.

– We are a small country, but out wealth lies in our geostrategic position and we should use it. Each road is a political project and each road we build increases Serbia’s political, economic and infrastructural stability. That’s why I’m not giving up on highways – Mihajlovic said.
