eKapija continues to look into current events of significance to the economic environment through its new format – Topic of the Week.
In the new edition to be published on October 22, 2018 we will look into current trends and the potential direction in further development in the area of Heating, namely the solutions for improving energy efficiency.
Most residential buildings in Serbia were constructed according to the outdated energy regulations when electricity was relatively cheap and the regulations on thermal insulation were practically non-existent. That is why a great number of users chose electric heating since electricity was the cheapest energy-generating product.
However, since the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia announced electricity price corrections, the households that use electricity through heaters and central heating systems could have the largest heating expenses and therefore it can be expected that they might seek out alternatives.
How the citizens as well as the entire industry will manage their heating depends on many factors and the price of energy sources is just one of them. The state of infrastructure, necessary equipment investments and the time needed to prepare the system for the heat season will also affect the choice of energy sources for 2018-19 season. Having this in mind, the decision could only be made after a detailed analysis.
In its new Topic of the Week ekapija will present new possibilities for more efficient space heating with affordable prices and the use of ecologically acceptable energy sources. You will be able to read up on new solutions and devices for heating systems. necessary infrastructure and ways to improve energy efficiency.
We invite you to get involved in the creation of this issue if you deal in heating systems or providing solutions for better energy efficiency, education and services in this area. Send your suggestions at [email protected] or [email protected].
