Vienna Days in Belgrade on November 6-8

After Ljubljana, Krakow, Zagreb , Prague and Sarajevo it is Belgrade's turn to host Vienna Days event, organized by International offices of City of Vienna and Eurocomm-PR.

The fashion show by Vienna designer Sabine Karner on November 6 in Dorcol Platz will mark the start of interesting meetings of exports from both capitals. In the two-day conference “Belgrade and Vienna – developing cities through dialogue” which will take place on November 7-8 in the Yugoslav Film Archive Museum experts from both cities will take a look at the current topics. The focus will be on the following : waste management, public transport, digitizing the city management, elderly care, social housing, waste water, mobility and infrastructure projects.

The world population now mostly consist of city dwellers which present the city management with bigger ongoing and future challenges and tasks on how to provide the citizens with the best quality of life possible.

Thanks to globalization and new technologies more and more regions are coming into contact and international cooperation gains more traction. That is why City of Vienna seeks closer cooperation with neighbouring cities.

Let us remind that that according survey that international consulting firm Mercer conducted in March 2018 Vienna was named the the best city in the world for quality of living for the ninth year in a row.
