The fifth FMCG Summit Belgrade, which will be held on November 22, 2018, at Hotel Hyatt Regency Belgrade and organized by InStore Magazine, will feature a special segment dedicated to the potential for export to the Russian market and the presence of domestic products in the biggest Russian store chains.
The Russian market, which experienced FMCG players call El Dorado, is still very segmented, and the five biggest retailers cover 20% of the whole market. Russia is Serbia's third biggest trade partner. The export of Serbia products to the Russian market is characterized by the starting, price and competitive advantage compared to other imported products thanks to a unique preferential trade agreement and customs-free export to the market of over 144 million residents. Although certain local producers have successfully exported their products to the Russian market, the impression is that we can do much more, the organizer says.
The participants will be presented with the experiences of the umbrella institution for the support to exporting – the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (Dejan Delic, the director of the CCIS office in Moscow), and the domestic producer which has successfully placed its products on the shelves of Russian retail store chains – Zlatiborac (Nemanja Knezevic, the director of the Marketing and Development Sector). The closing, keynote presentation will be held by Miodrag Borojevic, the chairman of the Management of the O'Key, a Russian retail chain.
The full list of topics and presenters, as well as registration fee and application can be found HERE.
