Germany's waste oil processing company Avista Oil expands operations to Serbia

Avista Oil has been a member of the waste industry association Hrabri Cistac since September 2018.

Avista Oil A.G. was founded in 1951. Its seat is located in Lower Saxony, Germany. With a processing capacity of nearly 500,000 tons, Avista Oil A.G. is one of the world's leading recyclers of used/waste mineral and synthetic oils.

The refineries for the processing (re-refining) of waste oils work within Avista Oil Group, two of which are located in Europe (Germany and Denmark), whereas one is located in America.

In addition to these refineries, Avista Oil Group features companies which collect waste oils in the territories of the countries they are located in. They also transport the oils to the refineries.

On September 1, 2018, Avista Oil d.o.o. Beograd was founded within the group.

As the company says, they intend to shoulder the establishment of a lubrication oil waste management system in Serbia and to collect, store and export, for the purpose of re-refining as much waste oil as possible in line with the standards and regulations of the EU and the Republic of Serbia, while complying with the principles of circular economy and sustainable development.

Hrabri Cistac expect a successful cooperation with the new member and is already planning a joint presentation, as reported on the association's official website.
