Belgrade Food Show is a unique combination of a conference and a high-quality food fair, held for the first time in Serbia and the region. On November 5-6, local and foreign producers, customers and distributors of premium products will gather at Hotel Crowne Plaza, and the good news is that the wider public will be able to visit the fair on both dates from 11 am till 3 pm.
Interested visitors can still apply at www.belgradefoodshow.rs and be among the first ones to be educated on world trends in the food industry.
On these two dates, eminent global and local experts will hold a series of lectures dealing with achieving success in the foreign market.
Among them is Chef Alan Coxon, the British food, beverage and tourism ambassador, a member of the Superior Taste Award jury and a TV presenter from Great Britain. He is a multi-award winning food preparation expert, an international judge and the winner of the most prestigious gastronomic awards with five written cooking manuals. Alan is also a consultant in the field of gastronomy. At his lecture at the Belgrade Food Show conference, he will talk about combining foods, taste certification, premium products and benefits of the Superior Taste Award.
After the introductory talk, a lecture by Honorata Jarocka, a senior analyst in the food and beverage sector, will be followed by Mintel Consulting, one of the world’s leading consulting companies. Simon Waring, Managing Director of UK's Green Seeds Group, will hold the lecture with the theme of “the way to the market, from packaging to distribution”. This will be followed by a panel on the manufacturer’s way to the shelves of a large regional chain, from the customer’s point of view.
Finally, visitors will be able to hear about the experiences of producers from Serbia and the region who have successfully overcome all the challenges and gone through the process of establishing a business to reaching the market and achieving growth. Darko Mandic, co-founder and CEO of Happy Honey, Andrija Miskovic, Executive Director of Global Foods, and Kalin Babusku, a representative of Mama's Food, will participate in the case study “Been There, Done That”.
The event is organized by the Serbian Food Promotion Association with the tendency to place Serbia among the leaders in the food and beverage industry in South East Europe, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Project.
