Jagodinska Pivara up for sale – Value estimated at RSD 711 million

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has put Jagodinska Pivara, one of the first Serbian factories, up for sale again. The property of Jagodinska Pivara in bankruptcy has been evaluated at RSD 711 million. The public bidding is scheduled for December 4 at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, the Center for Bankruptcy Proceedings in Belgrade.

The most important property of this brewery includes the complex in Jagodina (the factory with 41 facilities), primarily the food and drink production industry building (JAPS) of 3,167 m2, silos (10 cells with 4 intercells) of 615 m2, storage and brewing cellars, the machine room, the malting room, the drying plant, the maintenance service and the substation, amounting to 4,452 m2, the MIN cellar of 1,846 m2, the management building of 1,179 m2, the central storage room of 1,241 m2 and the bottling plant of 4,318 m2, as well as office and storage facilities in Nis, Kragujevac and Pozarevac, and the brewery's equipment and claims.

The ad emphasizes that the bankruptcy supervisor obliges to accept the highest bid if it exceeds 50% of the estimated value, and if it is below 50%, the bankruptcy supervisor must get authorization from the Board of Creditors before accepting the offer.

The deposit is RSD 142.2 million, the sales documentation costs RSD 250,000, and the buyout deadline is November 27, 2018.

The brewery is sold as a legal entity, as seen, and can be viewed after the documentation is bought out, each work day between 9 am and 3 pm, until November 27, 2018, whereby the bankruptcy supervisor needs to be notified previously.

The public sale of Jagodinska Pivara has been advertised based on the Bankruptcy Decision at the Commercial Court in Kragujevac, which also adopted the decision on the bankruptcy proceedings in March 2016. Several attempts at the sale have fallen through.

Jagodinska Pivara was founded in 1952 by Filip Stankovic, a close associate of Prince Milos Obrenovic.
