The new production lines, in which Austrian holding “Alas” invested 14.5m EUR, have been put in operation today (April 16, 2009) in Šabac-based factory "Zorka Keramika" and factory "Zorka Opeka" in Koceljeva.

This holding, a part of “Asamer” group, has invested 11m EUR in the factory in Šabac and 3.5m EUR in the Koceljeva-based factory.

According to the words of the owner of "Asamer", Manfred Asamer, the investment in "Keramika" resulted in five times larger production of tiles.

- When we bought the factory, we had the production capacity of 1.2m square meters of tiles. We enlarged the capacity to 6m square meters in few big steps - Asamer said to the press.

The owner of “Asamer" officially put the line for production of climate-blocks in Koceljeva in operation today. One climate block can replace 11.5 standard bricks and its use accelerates construction by 30%.
