In the previous bankruptcy proceedings, Srpska Fabrika Stakla (SFS) Paracin increased the production by 20% and the sales by 23% this year, compared to the previous year, and 46% of the production was exported.

The monthly production reached 4,500 tons, and the sales are at their peak in the past five years and are likely to grow in the next year as well, the SFS management announced.

SFS covers 50% of the domestic market, the press release says.

It is also pointed out that “considerable funds have also been invested in repairing and maintaining the production machinery and a large number of new tools have been procured”.

– SFS settles its debts toward all its suppliers and pays power and gas bills as much as it can – the management says and notes that SFS “has stocked the necessary supplies for the entire winter period, which means that the production won't drop, as was the case before”.

The management points out that all the workers hired by SFS “are paid their wages on time, and the workers regularly exercise their pension insurance rights, while young workers, ready to learn, are employed”.

The press release also says that the management “does all it can to improve the working conditions and constantly works on increasing the factory's productivity and stability”.
