Serbia chosen as a top travel destination for 2019

At a panel of five prominent travel bloggers, held in Denver on November 18, Serbia placed among the top destinations for 2019, as reported on the TravelLemming.com portal, which deals with travel destinations off the beaten path

Five influential travel bloggers had nominated five destinations and over 1.75 million people had voted through social networks.

The portal also invited its readers to vote for the best destination, most of whom voted for Serbia.

– In Belgrade, you'll find throbbing nightlife at floating river clubs, one of the best street art scenes in the world, and a charming old town inside a fortress. Outside of the capital, you'll find tranquil rivers cascading down lush green valleys, charming towns and villages, and loads of history at every turn – the article says.

Kiersten Rich, one of the judges and the author of the Blonde Abroad blog, says that she genuinely feels that Serbia is an up and coming destination.
