Slovakia invests 1.7m EUR in projects in Serbia

The Ambassador of Slovakia to Serbia, Igor Furđik, announced on the occasion of yesterday's (April 29, 2009) visit to Zrenjanin that Slovakia would invest planned 1.7m EUR in development projects in Serbia in 2009, and he estimated that Zrenjanin was one of important cities in those plans.

Participating in the discussion in the premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Zrenjanin that was occassioned by the completion of project "Sustainable Energy for Zrenjanin", which was financed by Slovakian Development Agency "Slovak Aid", Furđik expressed satisfaction with the fact that the project for energy saving in residential buildings had already been implemented in Zrenjanin.

Expressing the gratitude to the Ambassador for financial aid and support in realization of development projects, the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Dr. Mileta Mihajlov, reminded that the solar instrument for saving of energy had recently been put in operation in Zrenjanin's hospital thanks to the donation of Slovakian Government. .
