First decision about founding of company by shortened procedure
The first decision about registration of company by shortened procedure was issued today (May 12, 2009) in the Business Registry Agency (BRA).
Serbia has introduced “one-window system” of registration that shortened the founding process for companies and stores by one fourth, and it now takes five to six days.
The first decision about registration by the new procedure was handed by the Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, to Biljana Sekulović-Deves who opened company for trade, consulting and management services “Bisal Group” in Belgrade.
Dinkić said that Serbia had introduced “one-window system” of registration that would make it possible for companies to complete the whole registration process at one place, as well as to receive tax identification number (PIB), the number from Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, and the number from the Republic Medical Insurance Institute.
The CEO of BRA, Zvonko Obradović, specified that, according to the new procedure, only one registration form was to be fulfilled, that is, the citizens “administratively access the system of founding procedure by addressing BRA".
