Nebojša Zdravković, Deputy Mayor of City of Kragujevac

Nebojsa Zdravkovic was born on July 19th 1969 in Kragujevac. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kragujevac, as the first in his generation. He received a master and doctor of science degree from the same University also as the first one in his generation. He was employed at Zastava Arms Company, besides as lecturer at Advanced Technical School in Cacak. He took part in several projects within the Software engineering laboratory at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and under patronage of Ministry of science. He had professional upgrading at several worldwide known universities.

Since 2005 he is professor at the Faculty of Information Technologies in Belgrade. For many years he has been expert - associate in new products developing domain at “Dr.Schhfried“ Company from Vienna, Austria. He is the author and co-author of more than twenty essays published in scientific journals, seminars and conferences, as well as co-author of a monograph. He is engaged at numerous international conferences and seminars in the field of information technologies and software engineering. He is a member of European Society of Biomechanics, and Program Committee of Mobile Learning International Conference.

He has been involved in politics since 2000 as a member of Non - governmental organization G17 Plus. From 2005 he has been chairman of G17 Plus City Board in Kragujevac, in addition to that a member of Executive Board and Main Board of this party. He was chief of G17 Plus Electoral headquarters in 2007, when he was voted Member of Parliament at National Parliament of Republic of Serbia. He was deputy-chief of Electoral headquarters for the coalition Veroljub Verko Stevanovic - G17 Plus- Zajedno za Kragujevac that won the latest elections for Kragujevac City Assembly. He is reelected Member of Parliament of Republic of Serbia. Since 2006 he holds a post of City Council member for cooperation with Government of Republic of Serbia in strategic planning and investment domain, where he has been involved in cooperation with Ministries and putting into action projects from National Investment Plan.

He has been married. The couple has two sons.
