"Royal Eco Food" from Belgrade won award in Brussels for sour cherry preserve
Belgrade-based company "Royal Eco Food", one of the first local manufacturers of certified organic food, is the laureate of this year's award of the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) from Brussels for a product from new product portfolio - sour cherry preserve.
The award of this prestigious European institute is granted for top superior taste and quality of food products, and its expert jury comprises 140 chefs and sommeliers, the members of 12 most prestigious European
Cuisine Organizations from France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Greece and Portugal.
The contest gathered 290 companies that candidated 796 food products from 75 countries.
- Besides health advantages, organic food from our region, with careful growing and processing, respecting of natural laws and absence of harmful agrichemicals and additives, has better taste as well. We are of the opinion that, among the rest, that was one of our "secret ingredients" for superior taste, which helped the international expert jury decide to grant the award to our product. This award is very important to company "Royal Eco Food" because it improves its market competitiveness - especially with the demanding and environmental European consumers – said Tanja Stojanović, the Corporate Communications Manager.
The award will be granted to company "Royal Eco Food" at the annual ceremony on May 28th in Brussels.
