Chinese Zijin to invest in tourism in Bor – Investments in Hotel Jezero and surrounding area planned

The Chinese company Zijin, which took over the management of RTB Bor, will continue realizing the plans for the development of tourism around the Bor Lake, having announced new investments in Hotel Jezero and the surrounding area, the hotel’s manager, Milica Milovanovic, confirmed for Beta.

She said that the hotel’s capacities were more than 50% full at the moment.

– It will be so until May, and the capacities will be full on weekends as there are numerous upcoming seminaries, team building sessions and individual visits – Milovanovic said.

All the capacities were sold out during New Year’s holidays, and the majority of guests, as many as 75%, were tourists from Bulgaria and Romania.

– The fact that as many as 60% of the foreign tourists have been here before shows how important quality is for us and that we have been recognized as a good host, providing our guests with maximum comfort with our hotel features – Milovanovic said.

According to her, the interior at the four-star hotel is being developed in agreement with the new management so as to be fully prepared for the summer season.

Many fans of winter sports are currently visiting Bor thanks to its ski runs on Crni Vrh.
