Agreement on gasification of a part of Mladenovac by the end of January

The Municipality of Mladenovac will sign an agreement on the construction of a gas pipeline in a part of the territory of this local self-government, where around 9,000 users could be connected, Novosti writes.

At the latest session of the Municipal Assembly of Mladenovac, the Gasification Program was adopted, which entails the construction of a distribution network and nine measurement and regulation stations in Pruzatovac, Ivanca, Koracica, Vrbica, Rabrovac, Velika Krsna, Dubona, Sepsin and Vlaska.

According to this program, the gasification project will be realized by Srbijagas and construction and engineering company DM Invest from Smederevska Palanka. The value of the project is not yet known, and the explanation of the decision says that DM Invest workers will carry out the construction as a turnkey project.

– This company would carry out the works on the gasification of a part of the Mladenovac territory as a turnkey project, with the obligation of pre-financing the works under Srbijagas’ terms, and without the participation of the Municipality of Mladenovac in the financing – the explanation says.

The construction of gas supply structures for the distribution of natural gas in this territory would create the conditions for the initiation of new economic activities, primarily foreign and local investments.

Five settlements in the central section of the Municipality of Mladenovac have been gasified so far, amounting to around 4,000 households. Around 80% of the territory, which encompasses larger populated areas on the border of the municipality – Velika Krsna, Velika Ivanca and Jagnjilo, with over 9,000 potential users, is not covered by the gas supply system.
